McLintock! (1963)
Tue | Jan 27, 2026 | 2:00pm
John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara rekindle their legendary screen chemistry in this rollicking frontier farce loosely inspired by Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew. Wayne plays a proud rancher struggling to manage land disputes, unruly townsfolk, and the sudden return of his estranged wife. A crowd favorite, McLintock! showcases Wayne’s underrated comic timing and willingness to poke fun at his persona.
Chief Curator Andrew Patrick Nelson will introduce the film and lead a post-screening discussion with the audience.
