Curt Walters: Resilience is a retrospective exhibition featuring 20 paintings by renowned Grand Canyon artist Curt Walters, spanning from the 1980s to the present. 

Widely regarded as the greatest living painter of the Grand Canyon, Walters has spent five decades observing, studying, and interpreting one of the world’s most complex landscapes. The exhibition brings together works that highlight his command of light, atmosphere, season, and geological detail, presented in both intimate studies and large-scale canvases.

This exhibition is timed with the release of Resilience: The Life History and Grand Canyon Art of Curt Walters (University of New Mexico Press), a comprehensive survey of the artist’s career and lifelong engagement with the American Southwest.
