Earth Day Celebration with Documentary film "Words from a Bear"

Join us as we celebrate Earth Day with the 2019 Sundance Film Festival documentary, Words from A Bear. This film explores the life of novelist, short story writer, poet, and essayist N. Scott Momaday (Cherokee + Kiowa). In 1969, he was the first Native American author to win a Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for his novel House Made of Dawn. This film features original animation, historical photos and aerial landscapes that complement interviews with authors and actors including Rilla Askew, Joy Harjo, Robert Redford, Jeff and Beau Bridges, and others.
