Old Henry

Tim Blake Nelson delivers a career-defining performance as a widowed farmer harboring dark secrets from his past. When violence arrives at his doorstep, Henry must confront both external threats and his own buried history. The film builds slowly and deliberately, revealing its connections to the Billy the Kid mythology through careful character development rather than shootouts. Old Henry proves that there are still fresh stories to be told within familiar Western frameworks, offering a meditation on identity, redemption, and the weight of history.
