The Mercenary (1968)

A 1968 Spaghetti Western starring Franco Nero, Tony Musante, and Jack Palance. Directed by Sergio Corbucci. A greedy Polish mercenary helps a mine worker and a peasant girl lead a revolution against the Mexican Government, all while being pursued by an American Rival. Considered to be the most loveable of all spaghetti westerns, The Mercenary offers an epic canvas and joyous comedy as well as a winning bromance between the taciturn mercenary and the revolutionary.

Dr. Andrew P. Nelson, Chief Curator, will add context and engage the audience with discussion and Q&A.
