Though definitely not the most impressive western museum I've been to, the Western Spirit museum was still a delightful little stop that gave me an hour of enjoyment. There's paintings and even presidential campaign posters. I've been to a more impressive western museum in San Antonio, but this museum still served it's purpose. Staff was helpful though! Also, if you're bringing three guests, make sure to buy museum passes.

Be sure to go upstairs!!!! The looks are deceiving as it is quite a large museum. Between the permanent exhibits and the curated limited time exhibitions it was outstanding. Pottery, Native American artifacts, photography, paintings, historic western artifacts really marvelous. A gem of a museum.

Incredible experience of looking into the beautiful culture of the west. My wife and I visited on a Wednesday in the middle of the day. The museum did not seem busy at all. The staff were eager to help us by jumping in and giving us incite of the different items on display at the museum. If you are near Scottsdale I would highly suggest visiting this museum if you are interested in history or enjoy art in any way.
